Blanche M. Sutherlin

Blanche M. Sutherlin, 89, of Greencastle, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017.

She was born on Aug. 5, 1927 to Jacob and Sarah (Lawson) Cox in Parke County, Ind.

Blanche married C. Frederick Sutherlin on Oct. 11, 1968, and he preceded her in death May 29, 1990.

She is survived by her children, Ronald and wife Marie Benassi, Paula and Joe Martin, Robert Benassi and wife Sue, Dan Benassi and wife Kathleen, and Mark Benassi and wife Zaida; six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings, Letha Cox, Donald Cox, Virginia Cox, Katie Cox Spencer, Nancy Cox Woodall, Lorene Cox Lewis, Shirley Cox Gardner, Tony Cox, Lee Cox and Richard Cox.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, July 10 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service time Monday.
