Courtesy photo District 37 State Sen. Rodric Bray (R-Martinsville, seated left) joins Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb as he ceremonially signs Senate Enrolled Act 443 into law Wednesday at the Statehouse with Indiana Secretary of State Connie Lawson seated right. The pro-business law, authored by Sen. Bray along with State Sens. Eric Koch and Mark Messmer will delete several outdated sections of Indiana code and update business entity statutes, making it easier to do business in Indiana. The law enacts provisions of the Uniform Business Organization Code, including the Uniform Model Registered Agents Act and the Uniform Model Entity Transactions Act while making conforming changes.
