Robert Eugene Hunt,

Robert Eugene Hunt, 77, of Huntingburg, passed away at 10:23 p.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

He was born Jan. 17, 1940, in Muncie to Oris and Evelyn (Wyne) Hunt.

He married Glenda A. Tull on June 22, 1979 in Crawfordsville.

Robert was a retired Indiana State Police trooper.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda A. Hunt of Huntingburg; daughters Connie De La Cruz and Teresa Hughes, both of Cloverdale; son Randy Hunt of Putnamville; stepdaughter Cassandra Cheatham of Greencastle; brother Gary Dean Hunt of Philadelphia; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Robert Hunt will be held at 2 p.m. EDT Wednesday, July 19 at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Chapel from 10 a.m.-noon and 1-2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 19.
