Karate Academy raffling bike to support students

With the USA Martial Arts Championships set for Aug. 5 and 6 in Las Vegas, All-American Karate Academy is in the final days of a raffle to help send its students to the event.

Tickets are still available through Saturday for a boy’s 20-inch BCA freestyle bicycle. Tickets are $3 each or two for $5.

Featuring a steel frame, peg set and hand brakes, the bike is ideal for tricks or simply to be a young kid’s next set of wheels.

The funds will go directly to supporting kids attending the event.

“Some of the kids that are going out, their parents are on limited budgets,” Sensei Steve St. Pierre said. “This is huge.”
