Parts of South 43 Water Association under extended boil order

South 43 Water Association experienced a water main break on U.S. 231 South on Friday morning.

A boil order will be necessary for customers east and south of County Road 350 South (Possum Hollow Road), including all areas on U.S. 40 East and U.S. 40 West to Sharon Hills.

Customers not included in the boil order are located those west on County Road 300 South, to and including Putnamville.

South 43 customers served by the affected water main will be under an extended boil order until further notice.

A boil order means boiling any cooking or drinking water for several minutes before using or consuming.
