Area travel baseball team sets tryout dates for Sunday

The Indiana Thunder, a competitive travel baseball program based in Montgomery County, will be holding tryouts for 13U, 14U & 15U teams for the 2018 season on Sunday at Southmont High School.

The schedule:

3 p.m. —13U (born on or after May 1, 2004)

4:30 — 14U (born on or after May 1, 2003)

6 p.m. — 15U (born on or after May 1, 2002) 6:00.

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled time. Ages are based on player’s age as of May 1, 2018. All players must reside in the state of Indiana.

The Thunder program was established to provide young athletes in Montgomery County and surrounding areas a local option to play baseball at a high level.
