Courtesy photo Being positioned at its new home at the Putnam County Museum is a granite millstone that was in operation at the Houck family farm up to the late 1800s in Washington Township of Putnam County. The millstone was donated to the museum in the honor of the David Worth Houck Family. The Houck family farm was along Big Walnut Creek, just south of Boone-Hutcheson Cemetery. Aaron Wesley, Andrew Sutherlin and David Sutherlin of JAMRR Excavating put the stone in place recently on the porch of the museum at 1105 N. Jackson St., Greencastle. More information on the museum is available on its website at www.PutnamCountyMuseum.org.
