Putnam Youth Choir being organized

A Putnam County Youth Choir is being formed and organizers are looking for school children who want to sing.

Registration is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 22 at the Greencastle McDonald’s on Indianapolis Road from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

The choir is open to students in grades 4 through 7.

The group’s first rehearsal will be on Sept. 11.

Organizers are also excited, choir spokesman and Tzouanakis School music teacher Carrie Hamilton said, about upcoming performance opportunities that are still forming.
