Adopt-a-Classroom

Courtesy photo Central Elementary recently adopted three classrooms from Houston after Hurricane Irma. The school community was asked to donate specific items that were needed for each classroom and collected enough to fill 21 boxes full of school supplies along with cash to send as well. Many classes also made cards and notes of encouragement for the students in each adopted classroom. York Chevrolet Buick in Brazil donated shipping costs to get the items to Houston. A few of the students who donated include Bryan Bye, Joel Teipen, Stevie Laney, Layla Mullins, Addison Cook, Jonathan Hayden, Josie Helton, Dayton Fox, Max Richardson, Emalyn Tomaw, Emelia Wells, Gavin Clark, Lydia Roderick and Kierstyn Ronan.
