CLOVERDALE -- Cloverdale High School students will be participating in a community service learning project on Friday, Oct. 6.

Called “Commitment to Our Community,” the project is scheduled for 12:30-2:45 p.m.

Community partners are Soul Harvest Church, First National Bank Endeavor Communications, POET and Town of Cloverdale.

Cloverdale High School is committed to challenging each student to reach his/her full intellectual, creative, physical and philanthropic potential through a fully integrated curriculum, Principal Sonny Stoltz explained. It encourages students to participate in the half-day service learning opportunity in partnership with local businesses and entities that foster respect and social responsibility.

Any community member who needs assistance in gutter cleaning, raking leaves or similar maintenance tasks, can get assistance by contacting the Town of Cloverdale Clerk’s Office or Soul Harvest Church.

For more information, persons may contact Doug Wokoun or Kyle Walter at 765-795-4203.
