Marcia K. Britton

Marcia K. Britton, 72, left this earth on Sunday, Oct. 22, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on Oct. 22, 1945; her parents she knew Cecil and Mildred Josephine (Arnold) Allee.

Marcia loved her family and enjoyed moments with her children through grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She took time with her family and shared moments in traveling to many different places, across the United States; Florida, Key West, Colorado, California.

She graduated from Cloverdale High School on May 22, 1963. In 1963, Thomas V. Britton and Marcia K. Allee were married until 1983. However, they remained very close friends throughout the years.

She worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield. Upon retiring in 2000, she returned to Cloverdale.

Marcia has family in Cloverdale, Spencer, Greencastle and Gosport.

She also enjoyed working on all sorts of crafts, including knitting, cross-stitch, needlepoint and crochet.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Mildred Allee, her brother, John Allee.

She is survived by her two daughters, Alisa A. (husband David) Frye and Joanna "Michelle" Britton, six grandchildren, Stephanie Vibbert, Matthew (wife Candice) Vibbert; Jordan, Jeremy, Kaitlyn and Skylia Mundy, five great-grandchildren Breanna S., McKenzie V., Jeremy M., Alivia V., Brealynn M., her brother Kevin Allee, along with many other family members.

She is missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be from 1-4 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 27 with a celebration of life at 4 p.m. at Indiana memorial.
