CLOVERDALE -- September was a real out-and-about time for the Cloverdale Emerald Command.

Aside from their usual performances at home football games, the band traveled to IU Bloomington for Band Day, combined forces with the Cloverdale Middle School band to march in the Cloverween parade and marched in the Martinsville Fall Foliage Festival this past weekend.

The summer band has also been busy, competing at the ISSMA Summer Showcase, the Lawrence Central Invitational and its first ISSMA Regional this past weekend. It also hosted a parent/community preview performance.

The Concert Band and Jazz Band recently put on a Fall Concert, performing music from “Harry Potter,” “October Sky” and “Moscow 1941” as well as some of the new pep band music and music from IU Band Day.
