Noodles 101 program geared toward healthy holiday eating

Interested in learning new recipes? Would you like to hear from culinary arts students and community representatives? Do you want to spend a morning with friends trying new recipes?

You are invited to Noodles 101 taking place at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 17 in the Area 30 Community Room.

During Noodles 101, Purdue Extension will provide cooking demonstrations and tips for healthy eating during the holidays. This event will feature recipes and content provided by Area 30 culinary arts students, registered dietitians, heath educators and many more.

Registrations are taken by calling the Purdue Extension office at 653-8411. Please register no later than Monday, Nov. 13.

Noodles 101 is a co-sponsorship with Area 30, Indiana Extension Homemakers, Purdue Extension and Putnam County Hospital.

The program cost is $5 which includes taste testing of several recipes, and program material. Event proceeds help expand the Area 30 Culinary Arts program.
