Beginning Again

Finishing strong on a song that momentarily overcame her with emotion, Angela Norris White belts out the last lines of “Mama,” with her inspiration for the song sitting proudly in the crowd Friday evening. White wasn’t the only performer to tug at the heartstrings during the “Beginning Again” event at Music on the Square, which also featured songs from Gus Moon and readings of the work of writers Donovan Wheeler, Chris White and the late Rick Hillis.
