Rockville (0-0) at South Putnam (0-0)

Game time: 7:30 p.m. varsity start.

The coaches: Bob Kyle is in his fourth year at Rockville with a record of 30-41. Brian Gardner is in his third year at South Putnam with a record of 26-23.

So far: This game is the season opener for both teams.

Last year: The Eagles finished 15-11 and won the Cascade Sectional title. Rockville was 12-13 last year.

The history: South Putnam won 44-42 last year on its homecourt, and has won 16 of the last 24 meetings between the teams.

Key players: Returning senior starters MIranda Bieghler (12.7) and Lillie Stein (10.8) led the Eagles in scoring last year. Junior Caitlin Capps was the team’s leading rebounder at 4.8.

Crawfordsville (0-1) at North Putnam (1-0)

Game time: 7:30 p.m. varsity start.

The coaches: Tony Bean is in his second year at Crawfordsville with a record of 3-21. Jarrod Duff is in his second year at North Putnam with a record of 2-22.

So far: North Putnam opened its season with a 28-26 win over North Vermillion on Saturday. Crawfordsville lost its opener 50-30 to Seeger on Friday.

The history: Crawfordsville won 47-30 on its homecourt last year and has won 14 of the last 17 meetings between the teams.

Key players: Reserve Clarissa Gibson led North Putnam with six points against North Vermillion, while Kinzey Young added five.

Lauren Kellerman led Crawfordsville with 13 points against Seeger, while Chloie Livesay added 9.

North Central (1-0) at Cloverdale (2-0)Game time: 7:30 p.m. varsity start.

The coaches: Joey Davidson is in his third year at North Central with a record of 17-33. Matthew Langdon is in his seventh year at Cloverdale with a record of 49-87.

So far: The Thunderbirds won their opener 71-69 at South Knox on Saturday. Cloverdale won a pair of games last week, defeating Turkey Run 85-20 and Riverton Parke 65-34.

The history: Cloverdale won 72-42 at Farmersburg last yera and has won two of the last three meetings between the teams.

Key players: Senior Abby Walker leads the Clovers in scoring with 22.5 points per game, while Tori Combs scores 14.5 and Hailey Thomas adds 10.5. Combs averages 12.5 rebounds per game, while Sammie Shrum averages 6.0 rebounds and 8.5 points per game.

Greencastle (0-1) at Owen Valley (0-0)

Game time: 7:30 p.m. varsity start.

The coaches: Bradley Key is in his ninth year at Greencastle with a record of 112-67. Trace Temples is in his second year at Owen Valley with a record of 18-7.

So far: Greencastle lost 51-45 at home to Edgewood on Saturday. Owen Vailley (ranked No. 21 in Class 3A) will be playing its season opener.

The history: Owen Valley won 60-33 in Greencastle last year. Greencastle has won six of the last 10 meetings.

Key players: Senior Rose White had 14 points and junior Seelye Stoffregen added 11 for Greencastle in its opener.

For Owen Valley, junior Dazia Drake averaged a team-high 12.6 points per game last year and senior Payton Cattorini was second at 11.8 per game. Seniors Kara Schafer (5.2) and Lauren Godwin (5.1) led the team in rebounding last year.
