Julie Jacqueline Young

Julie Jacqueline Young, 93, passed away Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017 at The Waters of Greencastle.

Julie was born in Darlington, Ind., on June 25, 1924, the daughter of Jules Leon and Alice (Fink) LaPage.

She was a graduate of Darlington High School.

Mrs. Young worked for more than 23 years with DePauw University in its Archives Department.

Survivors include four children, Alice Edwardson (David), Amy Shonkwiler (Jim), Mary Ann Johnson (Kyle) and William R. Young, (Barb); five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Charles D. Young.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20 at Forest Hill Cemetery in Greencastle.
