Helping the Homeless

Checks totaling $1,500 were presented to the Beyond Homeless shelter in Greencastle, represented by Executive Director Michelle Boller and Program Director Doug Cox (both at right). It included a $500 donation from Adam Brown Memorial Post 208 at the Putnamville Correctional Facility and $1,000 from the American Legion family at Greencastle Post 58. Representing the Legion groups are (from left) Tony Sparks, on behalf of Adam Brown Post 208 as an officer at PCF and president of the Sons of the Legion; Janie Rector, Legion Ladies Auxiliary; and Teddi Beard, president of the Auxiliary.
