The coaches: Greg Dean is in his fourth year at South Putnam. Patrick Rady is in his third year at Cloverdale.

So far: South Putnam beat Clay City 53-40 and Turkey Run 55-45, lost 47-41 to North Putnam, beat Eminence 77-45 and lost 51-43 to Greencastle. Cloverdale lost 93-65 to Terre Haute South and 78-60 to Edgewood to open the season, then beat Southmont 69-61, Indian Creek 77-75 and Monrovia 48-45.

Per-game averages: Offense — SP 53.8, Cloverdale 63.8. Defense — SP 45.6, Cloverdale 70.4.

Opponents’ records: South Putnam 8-19, Cloverdale 17-9.

History: Cloverdale won 66-45 last year in the county tourney, and has a 28-26 lead over the past 30 years.

The coaches: Randy Saxton is in his 13th year at International. Jarrod Duff is in his second year at North Putnam.

Season recap: International has picked up wins over Traders Point Christian, Central Christian, Indiana Deaf and Union (Modoc), while losing to Broad Ripple, Bethesda Christian, Liberty Christian and University. North Putnam has lost six straight games after starting the season at 3-1.

Per-game averages: Offense — International 36.8, North Putnam 29.6 . Defense — International 39.5, North Putnam 48.5.

Opponents’ records: International 33-44, NP 52-51.

History: International won 39-34 last season in the only previous meeting between the teams.
