County Jail

Seven people were booked in the Putnam County Jail recently.

Sunday

• At 11:15 p.m. Jennifer Lynn Stultz, 39, Cloverdale, was lodged at the jail as a habitual traffic violator and for driving while intoxicated with a prior conviction, resisting law enforcement, disorderly conduct and probation violation.

• At 7:55 a.m. Giovanny Hiram Agueda Roas, 20, Chicago, was taken into custody for reckless driving.

Saturday

• At 11:09 p.m. Avery Blake Gambill, 22, Bainbridge, was housed at the jail for driving while intoxicated.

Friday

• At 1:51 p.m. Joni Lee Thomsen, 41, Poland, was booked in for battery.

• At 1:21 p.m. Jonra Ann Michalski, 46, Cloverdale, was lodged at the jail for driving while intoxicated and battery.

• At 1:18 p.m. John Benjamin Nicholas, 34, Bedford, was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated.

• At 8:20 p.m. Icis Lynn Gootee, 21, Greencastle, was booked in for theft.

Sheriff’s Department

Putnam County sheriff’s deputies investigated a pair of recent car-deer crashes.

• At 5:21 p.m. on Thursday, Jennifer L. Noll, 54, Greencastle, was westbound on State Road 240 in a 2011 Honda Civic when she hit a deer.

Deputy Riley Houghton estimated damage at $2,501-$5,000.

• At 4:15 a.m. on Wednesday, Andrew N. Batchelor, 44, Avon, was westbound on U.S. 40 near County Road 475 East in a 2008 Ford F150 when he hit a deer.

Deputy Jeffery Freeman estimated damage at $2,501-$5,000. The pickup was towed.
