CRAWFORDSVILLE — Greencastle senior Megan Friars won the Indiana High School Bowling regional tournament at Plaza Lanes, and will compete today in the semistate at Arrowhead Bowl in Lafayette.

Friars did not roll a lot of strikes in her three-game qualifier, but picked up several spares in rolling games of 171, 184 and 169 as the top seed in the stepladder rolloffs.

Like at the sectional, Friars had to bowl only one game in the stepladder round, and defeated Autumn White of Warren Central to win the regional title.
