Marjorie Pearl Bowman, 84, Greencastle, passed away Friday, Feb. 2, 2018 at Mill Pond Health Campus.

Marjorie was born in Indianapolis on April 13, 1933, the daughter of Victor Williams and Helen (Biriley) Fausey.

Mrs. Bowman worked in the Bookkeeping Department for First National Bank of Cloverdale until her retirement in 1982. She also worked as cafeteria manager for Cloverdale High School for many years.

She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Greencastle.

Survivors include her daughter, Sherry Davis, Indianapolis; five grandchildren, Bradley Davis (wife Amanda), Nazareth, Pa., Loreena Powell (husband Tim), Cloverdale, Carin Haywood (husband Scott), Cloverdale, Vance Davis, Cloverdale, and Evan Davis Cloverdale; eight great-grandchildren, Lindsey and Christian Davis, Davis and Anna Powell, Skylar Price, Madison Burton, Keelie Price and Savannah Payne; and a sister-in-law, Patricia Durnell (husband Jack).

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 60 years, Lorin Bowman; and a son, Gary Bowman.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 8 at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle, with Pastor Daniel McGibbon officiating.

Burial will follow in Cloverdale Cemetery.

Friends may call at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7 or one hour prior to time of service on Thursday.
