Twelve area students were among the 766 named to the fall 2017 deanís list at DePauw University.
Local students who made the list include: MORGAN STEARLY of Centerpoint; TAULBEE JACKSON of Cloverdale; DAVID FLANNELLY of Coatesville; ASHLYN COX, LUCAS ECKRICH, MEGAN HALTOM, JONAH JONES-STEVENS, ISABEL MARKHAM, WHITNEY WEINSCHENK, BRAYDEN WHITE and ZACHARY WILKERSON of Greencastle; and KATHERINE McKEAN of Poland.
The deanís list recognizes students who achieve a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
Founded in 1837, DePauw University is a top-ranked, 100 percent residential, private liberal arts university in Greencastle.
Wabash College Dean Scott Feller has announced that three Putnam County students are on the deanís list for the fall 2017 semester. They are:
ē JOHN M. FAJT, a sophomore, son of Mr. John J. Fajt and Dr. Elizabeth A. Fajt, Greencastle.
ē JACOB L. KESSLER, a sophomore, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kessler, Greencastle.
ē SHANE R. BEAMAN, a senior, son of Ms. Kimberly R. Bowman, Bainbridge.
The three Putnam County students are among the 297 Deanís List students who maintained a 3.5 grade point average or better on a 4.0 point scale.
Indiana State University has announced its deanís list for the fall semester of 2017. To be eligible for the list, students must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
