Margaret Jeane Hill

Margaret Jeane (Bartholomew) Hill, formerly of Roachdale, passed away Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018 at Brownsburg Meadows.

She was born on June 2, 1926 in Roachdale to the late Thomas and Carol (Wright) Bartholomew.

She graduated from Roachdale High School, graduating with the Class of 1943.

On Nov. 9, 1946, she married William R. Hill. William passed away Feb. 16, 2018.

Margaret enjoyed quilting, reading her Bible, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Paul Hill, Carmel, Janet (Hill) Wharton, Grand Lake, Colo., and William R. Hill, Roachdale; 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and sister Shirley (Bartholomew) Sweeney.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, daughter Joyce (Hill) Zillinger and grandson Benjamin Wharton.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25 at Roachdale Christian Church, 1 N. Walnut St., Roachdale. Burial will follow in Roachdale Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 24 at Servies and Morgan Funeral Home, 102 E. Washington St., Roachdale.
