Family Support Services to host March 1 ‘friendraiser’

Family Support Services of West Central Indiana would like to invite you to join them on March 1 for their 1st FRIENDraiser event, sponsored by 2 West Bistro. During the 5:30-8 p.m. event persons can welcome new executive director Scott Monnett, celebrate the rebranding of the organization and learn about how to get involved with the agency.

Whether you serve as an advocate or spokesperson for Domestic and Sexual Violence Prevention, Healthy Families and Family Support Services, you can give the gift of your time by volunteering, or making a financial contribution, for 2018 will be packed with opportunities to make a difference and Family Support Services wants you to know all about them.

Appetizers will be provided by 2 West Bistro, 20 percent of proceeds will benefit FSSWCI for all additional food/meals purchased. A cash bar will be available.

Thanks to the support of the Allstate Foundation Purple Purse and Matt Welker Agency there will be a drawing for a the Purple Purse donated by actress Kerry Washington. Drawing for the Purple Purse from Allstate will take place at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased by calling 653-4820 and will be available the night of the event.

Washington designed the purple cross-body handbag for the Allstate Purple Purse campaign.

Chances to win are $5 and 100 percent of proceeds support prevention programs at Family Support Services.
