County Jail

Seventeen people were recently booked into the Putnam County Jail.

Monday

• At 2:42 a.m., Howard D. Lovelady, 24, of Indianapolis, was lodged at the jail on a local warrant.

• At 1:38 a.m., Donnie D. Sandusky, 23, of Cloverdale, was booked into the jail on a charge of public intoxication.

Sunday

• At 11:56 p.m., Edward R. Sanders, 24, of Cloverdale, was lodged at the jail on a charge of public intoxication.

• At 3:20 p.m., Daniel S. Hayes, 60, of Greencastle, was booked into the jail on a local warrant.

• At 2:52 p.m., Frederick E. Dunson, 45, of Indianapolis, was lodged at the jail on a criminal warrant and a charge of operating a vehicle as a habitual traffic violator.

• At 8:46 a.m., Cassandra L. Killebrew, 38, of Indianapolis, was booked into the jail on a charge of operating a vehicle after being adjudged a habitual traffic offender.

Saturday

• At 5:29 p.m., Mason B. Henline, 21, of Cloverdale, was lodged at the jail on a charge of possession of marijuana.

• At 3:56 p.m., Damon T. Rivers, 42, of Greencastle, was booked into the jail on a charge of theft.

• At 4:19 a.m., Joseph B. Payton, 21, of Greencastle, was lodged at the jail on charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

• At 4:31 a.m., Kimberly D. Erwin, 37, of Greencastle, was booked into the jail on charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Friday

• At 10:25 p.m., James F. Day, 27, of Greenwood, was lodged at the jail on charges of unlawful possession of a syringe and possession of paraphernalia.

• At 10:14 p.m., Anthony M. Jones, 22, of Greencastle, was booked into the jail on charges of possession of marijuana, dealing in a counterfeit substance, possession of paraphernalia with prior conviction and a local warrant.

• At 5:57 p.m., Michael W. Willingham, 33, of Gosport, was lodged at the jail on charages of possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and operating while intoxicated.

• At 5:49 p.m., Dustin M. Kennedy, 22, of Cloverdale, was booked into the jail on charges of possession of marijuana and operating while intoxicated.

• At 5:21 p.m., Cameron D. King, 24, of Greencastle, was lodged at the jail on a local warrant.

• At 3:27 p.m., Joshua J. Carter, 33, of Terre Haute, was booked into into the jail on charges of resisting law enforcement, possession of marijuana, operating while intoxicated, driving while suspended and operating a vehicle with a schedule I or II controlled substance or its metabolite in the body.

• At 10:27 a.m., Kevin L. Smith, 33, of St. Louis, was lodged at the jail on a charge of possession of marijuana.

City Police

Two summonses was issued in recent activity by Greencastle City Police officers.

• At 10:42 p.m. Saturday, Kimberly McFadden, 31, Greencastle, was stopped on Bloomington Street by Officer Zach Rhine.

McFadden was given a summons to appear in court on a charge of possession of paraphernalia. She was then released from the scene.

• At 3:57 a.m. Saturday, Destiny Lawson, 19, Terre Haute, was issued a summons for being a minor in consumption of alcohol. Her blood-alcohol level registered .046 percent.

Lawson was a passenger in a vehicle stopped by Officer Rhine on Houck Road.

Sheriff’s Department

Putnam County sheriff’s deputies responded to one recent property-damage accident.

• At 3:06 p.m. Thursday, Brian E. Rohr, 44, Johnstown, Ohio, in a 2007 Peterbilt, was passing a semi tractor-trailer sitting on the shoulder on the eastbound lane of Interstate 70 near the 33-mile marker (Cloverdale) when he had to stop suddenly for another vehicle and was rear-ended by Laura J. Balding, 46, of West Salem, Ill., who was driving a 2015 Chevrolet Equinox.

Major Dwight Simmons estimated damage at $2,501-$5,000. There were no injuries.
