Carolyne Eilene Sharp

Carolyne Eilene (Nelson) Sharp, 75, of Greencastle, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 25, 2018.

She was born Dec. 30, 1942 in Greencastle, the daughter of Wayne and Freda (Cash) Nelson.

She had attended Greencastle High School.

Carolyne had been employed at Huffy's Bicycle manufacturing and drove a school bus in Celina, Ohio. She worked at Jackson's Restaurant, food service at DePauw University, and as the breakfast and lunch cook for Pi Kappa Psi fraternity retiring after 15 years.

On Oct. 10, 1987 she married Gerald "Bud" Sharp, and he survives. She is also survived by her four children, Gary (Summer) Clark of Georgia, Troy Clark of Georgia, Rodney Clark of Terre Haute, and Connie Clark of Greencastle; a brother, Gerald (Bev) Nelson; two sisters, Sharon (Rex) Dunn and Diane (Gary) Osborn; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two great-grandsons and a great-granddaughter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 3 at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle. Interment will follow at Boone-Hutcheson Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. on Saturday until time of service at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made in Carolyne's memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
