Putnam Scanner for March 3, 2018

One person was booked in the Putnam County Jail on Thursday.

• At 11:20 p.m. Karen Sue Gilley, 51, Rockville, was lodged at the jail on an out-of-county warrant.

City Police

One arrest was reported Thursday morning by Greencastle City Police officers.

• At 9:18 a.m., Tiffany Rominger, 26, Indianapolis, was arrested by Officer Kyle Lee after a traffic stop on the city’s southwest side.

Rominger was lodged in the Putnam County Jail on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia.

Rominger was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Robert Jones, 39, Greencastle, on whom Officer Lee was attempting to make a traffic stop when the vehicle pulled into a private driveway on Beveridge Street.

Jones was issued a summons to appear in court for driving with a suspended license with a prior offense. He was released from the scene.
