Linda Carole Tyler, 73, of Fillmore, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018, at St. Vincent Heart Hospital.

Linda was born in Indianapolis on May 15, 1945, the daughter of Leon John and Wilma Mary (Gruca) Styczen.

She was a 1963 graduate of George Washington High School.

Mrs. Tyler worked for several years as a janitor for American Legion Post 58.

She was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 58, and a lifetime member of the Tomahawk Brotherhood.

She was a career grandma and loved all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Robert Tyler; four children, Robert Tyler Jr. (wife Tamara), Brian P. Tyler (wife Lori), Monica L. Fletcher (husband Randall) and Sharon D. Anderson (husband Scott); a brother, Ronald Allen Styczen (wife Kathy); eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 11 at American Legion Post 58, 1401 Indianapolis Rd., Greencastle, IN 46135. Friends may arrive at the Legion one hour prior to time of service.
