Harold 'Curtis' Brewster

Harold "Curtis" Brewster, 87, of Greencastle, died March 6, 2018 at Asbury Towers, in Greencastle, following a battle with Alzheimer's.

Curtis was born on Sept. 11, 1930, in Indianapolis, the son of James and Mina (Tudor) Brewster.

He attended Greencastle High School.

Following high school he worked as an electrician at Lone Star Industries, now Buzzi Unicem, in Greencastle.

He married Reva (James) Brewster in 1953, and she preceded him in death.

In his free time he enjoyed bowling and working on cars.

He was preceded in death by his son, Rocky Brewster, and siblings, James Brewster, Robert Brewster, Max Brewster, Frank Brewster and Madeline "Pat" Norris.

He is survived by his daughter, Patricia Gardner, and husband David of Greencastle, and a son, Guy Brewster, of Greencastle; grandchildren Brittany (Robert) Gilliam, Lacey (Jeremy) Lovett, Lindsey (Dennis) Souders, Caine (Tara) Gardner; great-grandchildren Tommy Gilliam, Jeffrey Gilliam, Isabella Lovett, Ethan Lovett, Ollie Lovett, Hayden Souders, Cole Souders, Mackenzie Souders, Chloe Gardner, Jocelyn Gardner and Luke Gardner; two brothers, Steve Brewster and Larry Brewster, as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

The family wishes to thank all the caregivers and staff at Asbury Towers and Kindred Hospice Care for their loving care of their father.

Cremation has been entrusted to French Funeral Home in Brazil.

Graveside services will be held at Forest Hill in Greencastle.
