Active shooter expert Hogue to speak at GHS

An expert in active shooter response will visit Putnam County on Wednesday, March 21.

Dr. Richard Hogue of the Indiana State Police will present the acclaimed ISP training on Unarmed Response to Active Shooter Eventes (URASE) from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Greencastle High School Parker Auditorium inside McAnally Center.

The event is free and open to the public and is being hosted by Sheriff Scott Stockton.

This training is relevant for any entity where large numbers of people gather, such as schools, places of worship, public and private businesses.

However, the training is applicable to individuals such as parents, students, teachers, school or church administrators and business owners.

Indiana State Police Superintendent Doug Carter, along with members of his staff, as well as other local, state and federal officials will be in attendance.
