7,000 eggs up for grabs at Robe-Ann Park hunt Saturday

An estimated 7,000 plastic eggs, filled with candy, goodies or coupons, will be up for grabs Saturday, March 24 during the annual Greencastle Park and Recreation Department Easter Egg Hunt.

The free event for youngsters age 1-11 will begin promptly at 10 a.m. at Robe-Ann Park.

Hunts will be conducted in five separate age groups at the park.

Eggs will include candy and prizes, along with the possibility of winning one of five bicycles donated by Headley Hardware.

Five sports-oriented baskets, donated by Dr. John Hennette, DDS, will also be given away.
