Harlean Marie Branam

Harlean Marie Branam, 84, of Greencastle, passed away at home, surrounded by family, on Sunday, March 25, 2018.

She was born Oct. 2, 1933, in Indianapolis, the daughter of Harley and Eslie (Fowler) Jines.

Harlean married James Branam on Dec. 10, 1951.

She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 281 for more than 25 years.

She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Harlean was preceded in death by her husband, James Branam; two sons, James Branam and Danny Branam; two daughters, Toni Kay Branam and DeAnn Branam; two sisters, Judith Grider and Barbara Joan Jines; and two brothers, Harley Jines and Pat Hamilton.

She is survived by three children, Cathy Stallcop, Della Lalen and Norman Branam; many grandchildren, great-greatgrandchildren; a sister, Laura Kay Schneider; and a brother, Fred Jines; several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Private entombment services will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery at a later date.
