Having a Ball

Friday, March 30, 2018
Spirited members of Mental Health America of Putnam County hold dodgeballs to be used in MHAoPC’s upcoming “Don’t Dodge the Issues” Dodgeball Tournament. The fundraiser, scheduled for 1-4 p.m. Saturday, April 7 at DePauw University’s Lilly Center, will benefit efforts in promoting community-wide mental health and MHAoPC programs. Several teams have already signed up to join in the fun and support a great cause. Cost is $10 per person until March 31 ($15 per person after that date) for six- to 10-person teams. All proceeds stay within Putnam County. Members of the committee coordinating the event are (from left) Christina Wagner (MHAoPC board member and psychology professor, DePauw University), Sam Ostreicher (DePauw senior), Da’Jeal Willaby-Partee (Phi Gamma Theta co-sponsor, DePauw sophomore), Richard Martoglio (DePauw chemistry professor), Diana Meo (MHAoPC board member, assistant director, Old National Trail Special Services), Dan McMurtry (MHAoPC board member, Roachdale Elementary counselor), Erin Flick (MHAoPC member, Cummins Behavioral Health Systems counselor).
