Annual Past Presidents Club garage sale slated Saturday at fairgrounds

This year’s sale is set for Saturday, April 7 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Putnam County Fairgrounds Community Building.

The public is invited to kick off its 2018 Garage Sale shopping by coming to the Putnam County Fairgrounds between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., rain or shine, Saturday, April 7 for an opportunity to purchase items from a variety of offerings, including household items, toys, dishes, clothing, plants and more.

The garage sale is one of two fundraising events sponsored by the Past Presidents Club each year. The other event is the long-running Arts and Crafts Show, which is held each November.

The Past Presidents Club uses funds it makes to support and make donations (including their recent donation of $1,000 to the Putnam County Fairgrounds Endowment Fund) to projects and events of the Putnam County Extension Homemakers, 4-H and other Extension related programs.
