The Greencastle Parks and Recreation Department has several programs scheduled during April.

On Saturday, April 14 from 1-5 p.m. at Mary Rogers Field Park, located next to Greencastle City Hall, the department will sponsor an art exhibit titled “Manifestation of Energy.” The art show will feature various types of art showcased by local artists.

On April 17 at 5:30 p.m. join the department for Build-it-Yourself: Bird House at the Greencastle park maintenance shop in Robe-Ann Park.

Young carpenters will have the opportunity to build their own bird house and take it home. Limited spots are available at $15 per child, adult supervision is required.

On April 24 at 5:30 p.m. in shelterhouse No. 1 at Robe-Ann Park, join the Greencastle Parks and Recreation Department for a family photo scavenger hunt.

It is not an ordinary scavenger hunt, instead of picking up the item on the hunt list, participants will snap a “selfie” with your group or family during the free event.
