CERT members re-certified for training

During a recent training session many members of the Putnam County Community Emergency Response Team were re-certified as severe weather spotters .

During the two-hour session members were educated on radar interpretation, thunderstorm basics, storm safety and reporting procedures.

During the recent severe weather several CERT members were posted throughout the county to observe and report the changing weather in their area.

CERT is an all-volunteer 501c3 group. Anyone who would like more information contact csi@iendeavor.com.

Also during the month of April, Mason jewelers of Greencastle will be donating a portion of its profits to the CERT program.
