Community members to march in solidarity against racism
Friday, April 20, 2018
Members of the Greencastle and DePauw communities have been invited to stand and march in solidarity against racism.
The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at Gobin United Methodist Church, at which point participants will meet to make signs for the march.
At 6 p.m., the march itself will begin, proceeding through the DePauw University campus before heading north and ending on the steps of the Putnam County Courthouse.
The event comes on the heels of at least a half-dozen bias incidents around the DePauw campus in recent days.
