Putnam Scanner for April 25, 2018

Four people were booked in the Putnam County Jail on Monday.

• At 11:26 p.m. Russell Dale Williams, 44, Waterloo, was lodged at the jail on a local warrant.

• At 11:22 p.m. Catherine Louisa Robinson, 47, Fort Wayne, was taken into custody on a local warrant.

• At 2:09 p.m. Katherine Denise McKinney, 33, Greensburg, was housed at the jail on an out-of-county warrant.

• At 1:39 p.m. Wilhelmina Collette McDaniel, 44, Laurel, was booked in on an out-of-county warrant.

City Police

Two citations were issued recently by Greencastle City Police officers.

• At 10:02 p.m. Monday, Laqueda McCombs, 28, Greencastle, was ticketed by Officer Alec Pettit.

Stopped on North Jackson Street near Columbia Street, McCombs was cited for an infraction of driving with a suspended license.

• At 9:51 p.m. Saturday, Wyatt Summers was ticketed by Capt. Charles Inman.

Stopped on 10th Street, Summers was cited for failure to yield.

Sheriff’s Department

Putnam County sheriff’s deputies investigated one recent property-damage accident.

• At 1:21 a.m. on Tuesday, Tori L. Lowe, 19, Linton, was eastbound on U.S. 36, near County Road 475 East, when she lost control of her 2007 Pontiac G6 on wet pavement and the car ran off the road.

The vehicle had to be pulled from the ditch and towed.

Damage was estimated at $1,001-$2,500.
