With 132 high school seniors connecting with local employers, organizers are calling the recent Putnam County Job Fair a success. The seniors met with 26 different employers, making connections for summer jobs or permanent employment following graduation later this month. Employers like Walmart Transportation (above) had the chance to present their options to students like Cloverdale High School seniors (from left) Jake Wilkes, Nick Winders, Jerry Burton, Blake Willis, T.J. Hagymasi, Nick Smith and Steven Allen. South Putnam Principal Mike Schimpf, who originally had the idea for the job fair, credited Lora Busch of Area 30 Career Center, Kristin Clary and Tami Van Rensselaer of the Greencastle Putnam County Development Center and Karen Heavin with the success of the event.
