Laura 'Romell' Wrightsman

Laura "Romell" Wrightsman, 82, of Russellville, passed away Monday, May 14, 2018 at Asbury Towers, in Greencastle.

She was born on Oct. 25, 1935 in Russellville, to the late Oscar and Lillian (Hazlett) Clodfelter.

On Oct.13, 1955, she married Danny Wrightsman, he preceded her in death Feb. 24, 2016.

Romell worked in administration for farm companies in Parke and Putnam counties most of working career.

She had her private pilot's license, and she raised Chevliot sheep. She also enjoyed cross-stitching.

She was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, Russellville American Legion Auxiliary and the Russellville Community Church.

She is survived by her son, Curt (Cindy) Wrightsman, Russellville; grandchildren Brittany (Jarrod) and Matt (Kara); two great-grandchildren, John and Luke; one sister, and one very close friend, Mossie Carrico.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two sisters.

Due to the family's request the funeral arrangements will be private.
