SPORTS BRIEFS: North Putnam plans summer youth basketball camp next week

North Putnam High School will host youth basketball camp for boys and girls next week at the high school gym.

The camp is open to children in grades 1-6 and will run from Monday through Thursday.

For children entering grades one through three, camp will be from 10:15-11:15 a.m. each day, while camp for grades four through six will run from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

Coaches and players from the high school programs will instruct campers each day.

Each camper will receive a T-shirt and will also have opportunities to compete in contests and win prizes.

Cost is $15 per camper, with checks made payable to North Putnam Athletics.
