NP sponsors summer feeding program at four locations

The North Putnam School Corporation summer feeding program is already under way at two locations and will be expanding to two more in the coming weeks.

Roachdale Elementary School, North Putnam Middle School, Van Bibber Lake and Russellville Commmunity Center will all play host to the program, which provides free meels to children up to 18 years of age.

The program has already started at Roachdale Elementary, 305 S. Indiana St., and will continue through June 7 with breakfast from 7:30-8:30 a.m. and lunch from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Likewise, North Putnam Middle School, 8905 N. CR 250 East, Roachdale, has completed one week of the program and it will continue through June 28 with breakfast from 8-9 a.m. and lunch from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

The feeding program will start at Van Bibber Lake, 4425 W. CR 450 North, Greencastle, beginning on Monday, June 4 and continuing through July 27. Lunch only will be served from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

The Russellville Community Center, 300 N. Harrison St., will host the program from June 11-July 27 with lunch from 11 a.m.-noon.

No meals will be served at any location July 2-6.
