C.A.R.R. 5K set Saturday evening at Deer Meadow

Monday, June 4, 2018

The 5th Annual C.A.R.R. (Camo America Rainbow Run) 5K will take place Saturday, June 9 at 5 p.m. in memory of Keith Carr.

The race is run in memory of Andrew Keith Carr, who died at age 21 in a tragic accident in Rome on June 11, 2013, to raise money for A Kinetic Change. AKC aims to increase community physical activity by creating recreation facilities, organizing fitness events, and motivating you to convert your potential energy into kinetic energy with movement.

The race will begin and end at Deer Meadow Primary School, with post-race festivities in downtown Greencastle.

Participants are encouraged to run, walke, trot or strut the 3.1 miles sporting cammo, America-themed apparel or other costumes.

Cost of entry is $30. Registration is available at runsignup.com/Race/IN/Greencastle/CARR5K.
