Crane Bill Becomes Law

District 24 State Sen. John B. Crane (R-Avon, standing at front left) joins Gov. Eric Holcomb (seated, right) and State Sen. Michael Crider (R-Greenfield, front left) at the Statehouse Monday, June 4 for the ceremonial signing of Senate Enrolled Act 262. Co-authored by Crane, SEA 262 requires the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles to issue a permanent parking placard to any disabled Hoosier veteran upon request. In Putnam County, District 24 encompasses Russell, Franklin, Jacskon, Clinton, Monroe, Floyd, Madison and Marion townships as well as five precincts in Greencastle Township -- Greencastle North, Limedale, First North, Second East and Second West. The district also represents the majority of Hendricks County.
