John Dale 'JD' Ellett

John Dale "JD" Ellett, 70, Okeechobee, Fla., formerly of Coatesville, passed away Monday, June 4, 2018 in Coatesville.

He was born in Greencastle on Sept. 9, 1947, the son of John Ellett Jr. and Genevieve Evans.

He was a 1965 graduate of Cascade High School.

He had worked as a machinist for Link Belt/Rexnard.

He is survived by his daughters, Michele (John) Spencer and Rachel Ellett; grandchildren John Earl (Samantha) Spencer, Katherine Spencer, Clayton Spencer, Ulrich Chaparro, Hannah Chaparro, Paige McIntosh and Audrey Ellett; mother Janet Ellett; sister Pamela Gibson; sister-in-law Marcia Barker; and his former wife, Victoria West Hunter.

He was preceded by his father and a brother, Michael Ellett.

There will be a memorial gathering on Saturday, June 9 from 1-4 p.m. at the home of Janet Ellett, 2668 N. County Rd 900 East, Coatesville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

Arrangements are being handled by Bousley Funeral Home, Coatesville.
