After a successful start to the 2018 ParkFest summer concert series, Greencastle Civic League organizers are looking for a good week two on Tuesday, June 12 when Brandon Tinkler and Gus Moon take the stage.

The show is set for 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Bowman Park, north of the Green Center on the DePauw University campus. Shows will remain at Bowman Park until the Robe-Ann Park Bandshell is complete.

Tinkler, an independent recording artist based out of Indianapolis, is popular for his soul-soothing performances in local spots such as the Inn at DePauw and Wasser Brewing Company. He is set to release his second album “Open Up Your Eyes” next month.

Singer-songwriter Moon, a ParkFest favorite, hails from Bainbridge with his brand of Midwestern folk music. He builds amazing stories into his songs, pulling listeners straight into the hearts of the characters he creates.

Looking ahead, Chris Wurster and Dreadful Greta will take the ParkFest stage on June 19.

Organizers extend a thank you to the Greencastle Parks Department for partnering with the Greencastle Civic League, as well as Silver Level sponsors Bittles and Hurt and Hopkins-Rector funeral homes, DePauw University, Walmart Logistics and Hickory Creek at Sunset.
