Whitaker - 50th Anniversary

Max and Jeannette (Johns) Whitaker celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, June 15.

They were married at the Nazarene Church in Rockville by the Rev. Lela Watson.

Jeannette is a retired Fillmore Elementary School teacher. Max is a retired barber and owner of Max’s Barber Shop in Greencastle.

Max and Jeannette raised two daughters, Robyn (Rick) Ganly and Kellie (Mike) Lowry. They have three grandsons, Connor Ganly, Nicholas Ganly and Michael Anderson.

A private family dinner is being held to celebrate.
