SAWs accepting requests for handicap ramps

Thursday, June 21, 2018

SAWs, a mission of the Greencastle Presbyterian Church that provides ramps, safety steps and railings to disabled Putnam County residents, has openings in its schedule for 2018.

Starting immediately, SAWs will be accepting requests for projects to be completed on or after July 28.

For more than nine years, SAWs has been building ramps and steps for the handicapped in the area. In that time, 164 Putnam County residents have been assisted through the work of SAWs.

These projects are provided at no cost, whenever possible.

If you or someone you know is handicapped and needs improved access at home, contact SAWs at 653-5713 or by email at churchoffice@cinergymetro.net.

SAWs appreciates the community’s help in connecting with those who need assistance.
