Luau, garden tractor pull set Sunday at Russellville

RUSSELLVILLE -- On Sunday, July 15 the Russellville Community Center will be hosting a luau at noon.

The gym will be turned into a tropical paradise. The women will be greeted with a hug and a Hawaiian lei (flowered necklace).

The menu includes pulled pork barbecue, scalloped potatoes, baked beans, fruit kabobs, chips, macaroni salad, various desserts and drinks.

Cost of the meal is a free-will donation. The proceeds help to keep the community center in operation.

Following the luau, a free four-cylinder mini-rod and garden tractor pull is scheduled behind the community center. Weigh-in is at 1 p.m. with the pull beginning at 2 p.m.

Food and drinks also will be available for the pull.
