GYF having Saturday event

Greencastle Youth Football, in a fundraising effort to help with equipment costs, is hosting a 4-Mile Run and 2-Mile Walk on Saturday at the DePauw Nature Park.

Race begins at 9 a.m. with onsite registration opening at 8 a.m. Online registration is also available at www.runsignup.com

The 4.04-mile run offers stunning views and boasts 315 vertical feet of climbing over the course. The 2.05-mile walk offers beautiful views of the creek side and a mostly flat and downhill grade.

Custom awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in both the run and walk.
